World of Elegance

Rolltec® Awnings offers its own World of Elegance line of 100% solution-dyed acrylic fabrics. This designer collection comes in a wide variety of solids and striped patterns to satisfy any taste and compliment any house decor. The World of Elegance collection is selected from the leading European fabric manufacturers, which assures the finest quality and exclusive designs for the North American market.

As mentioned above, our top quality acrylic fabrics in the World of Elegance collection use solution-dyed acrylic yarns, meaning colour is added to the yarns during fabrication, while they are still in a liquid state. This technique locks colour in, assures a long life, and allows for easy cleaning.

All our fabrics have been treated with either Teflon or Scotchgard fabric protectors. This creates a barrier between the fabric and the elements. It reinforces the water repellency of the fabric and keeps it looking newer longer. Thanks to the treatment, dirt does not penetrate into the fabric.

The greatest benefit that acrylic fabric provides is a high level of protection from ultraviolet rays. It disperses, absorbs, and reflects the UV rays, thus preventing them from streaming through the fabric and making skin contact. The UV protection factor is progressively higher or lower depending on the colour of the fabric (the darker the fabric, the higher the UV factor).
